We are committed

In recognition of the dire state of our people in Sri Lanka and the need to alleviate the obstacles and empower them to lead a happy, healthy, and prosperous life, some Tamil diaspora living in UK decided to form this “Coodal C.I.C. UK,” a charitable organisation.

The Coodal C.I.C UK, will make every effort to provide assistance to the affected our people in Sri Lanka to alleviate obstacles and empower them to determine their own living.

Assisting the community in need to create, Cooperatives, people-centred enterprises jointly owned and democratically controlled by representatives for their members to realise their common economic, social and cultural needs and aspirations. As enterprises based on values and principles, they put fairness and equality first allowing people to create sustainable units that generate long-term benefits and prosperity to the community they serve.

Our Mission

Achieving Change

For Tamils, those in need, living in the North, East, and Hill countryside of Sri Lanka because of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship, displacement from their homes, or other disadvantages in Sri Lanka.

Care & Protection

Helping them through the provision of grants, loans and services to individuals, families, villages in needs. Working with other charities or other organisations from Sri Lanka or from a country outside Sri Lanka with similar aims and objectives.

Saving Children

Supporting people in need, Single parents family, people below poverty line, people who are affected by displacement. People who need financial support to start a business so they can make an earning to provide food on the table, send the children to school, provide decent clothes and facilities for children who want to study well and wanted to achieve in life.

Healping Families

Coodal supports families to grow vegetables at home, farmland, Poultry, grow goats and cows, establish a shop, and develop a cottage industry.

Training & Skills

Help them in training to get basic skills, Managing their finance, planning project writing, implementing the projects, writing project progress reports, Opening bank account, organising meetings, chairing meetings, writing reports, and minutes of a meeting. Using phones for reporting and communicating to do their business and meetings

Sharing Happiness

Working with other charities or other organisations from Sri Lanka or from a country outside Sri Lanka with similar aims and objectives.
